Sleepy Dan & Fur Face Boy Face Off…AGAIN.

sleepy dan v ffb

In December Sleepy Dan & Fur Face Boy faced off in Artopia’s T-shirt battle. Guests at the event voted on their favorite shirt and after the votes were tallied it ended in a tie. At this Saturday’s opening we will reopen the voting and settle this once and for all.

kyleconfehr.com

ABOUT BREAKING RAD
Kyle Confehr primarily creates ink on paper drawings focusing on the absurdity of brand allegiance, irony, consumerism, social media, the notion of an “in” crowd and many other facets of modern culture.
Breaking Rad will feature new and recent works on paper as well as a collaborative site specific painting installtion with Favio Moreno of The Bodega Negra. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition with The Public Trust.

ABOUT KYLE CONFEHR
Influenced by artists such as Jim Stoten, Geoff McFetridge, Chad Vangaalen, Andy Goldsworthy and Edward Gorey, Confehr’s quick-witted delivery is satirical in nature and outsider in its perspective. Further influences include Legos, Where’s Waldo, Batman, rednecks, Ren and Stimpy, old Trapper Keepers, unicorns, laser beams, Pokemon and awkward conversations with his best friend Pete. On a personal note Kyle loves pizza, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Sharpie’s, his dog Oswald and most of all his wife Meaghan. Kyle hates bad people, boy bands, country music and working out.

THE CHASE IS ON…Get Your ARTOPIA Tickets Now!

Taro T-shirt promo lockup

The next 100 people to purchase a ticket to ARTOPIA using the promo code CHASE will receive this super deluxe Taro-Kun t-shirt at the event. If that is not an incentive to purchase a ticket to ARTOPIA…well I just don’t know what could possibly get you motivated and I would get kind of sad for you.

Let’s look at the economics…since Taro studied that business in college…
If you were to purchase this shirt it would run you about $30. So based on the law of awesome deals, you should buy a VIP ticket with this promo code, because that would be like paying $15 for an all access ticket and $30 for this shirt, which is clearly worth your hard earned cash. The insane thing is that you can also get this with the purchase of a general admission ticket, which would basically be like us paying you to go to ARTOPIA, or something to that effect.
